I am a lucky girl who is married to a great guy and has 2 fabulous kids. I keep busy selling Silpada jewelry and also working at a local boutique store. Luck it is that with both of these jobs I am surrounded by beautiful things and hanging out with fun women.
I also keep busy with various creative endeavors like contributing to a web site called ‘Moms Like Me’ as a writer and moderator, creating music for podcast themes and offering them through my web site called Mod Pod Music, and also leading a podcast called Feminine Hijinx that I do with two great friends that are crazy enough to get bawdy and silly with me for everyone to hear. And of course being a Metal Mommy comes from the fact that I am involved in an online music project called Warbride, singing ‘female melodic metal’.
Aside from the fact that I love heavy music, I believe metal is an attitude that should be aspired to by all! If you’re standing up for yourself, pushing yourself to be the best you can be and getting the most out of life–you’re metal! (I’m giving you the heavy metal hand signal right now.)
